The 100 Day Project, Day 44
The shore of Lake Ontario is 15 minutes from my front door. We go walking along the pier there, no matter the season. There’s a lighthouse at the end of the pier that we aim saunter toward and from. In the summer we have ice cream cones from the local beloved Abbott’s custard.
One evening we visited and witnessed a weather inversion that trapped fog close to the water. It was fascinating to watch as the sun was setting.
We got to the end of the pier just as two teenagers jumped into the water. It was one of those magic moments where all the elements of a photograph fell into place.
About the 100 Day Project: A global creative challenge where thousands of artists share a piece of their practice every single day for 100 days. I'm joining creatives around the world, and I'm excited to bring you along. Each day I'll be sharing one of my photos — some recent, some old, and some from my current project — along with the story behind it: where I was, who I was with, and why I love it.
